Trolley bus with increased autonomous course ST 6217 developed by NPF "ARS TERM" and "Sibirian Trolley Bus" LLC

The first Russian trolley buses with autonomous movement option are successfully maintained in Novosibirsk. One of them has successfully worked in the Siberian weather. Maximum range of an autonomous course from one battery charge is up to 60 km. Lithium-ion accumulators in a construction of a trolley bus bring the possibility to move without the contact network, help to save up to 50% of electric energy and to reach the most remote areas of the city without creating traffic jams on city highways.

Such trolley buses can become the ideal solution for remote areas of the city and even for the suburbs. Use of a such kind of transport will considerably reduce the infrastructure settlement costs, because the construction of electric contact network everywhere will not be obligatory. The autonomous movement gives the chance to unite several trolley buses routes in one.
